Industrial Painting Port Botany
Project: Industrial Coatings – Cranes (Sydney Airport / Port Botany Area)
Location: Port Botany / Sydney Airport, NSW
Scope of Works:
Industrial painting works involving the application of protective coatings to multiple cranes within a high-security operational environment. The project required surface preparation and coating application to structural steel elements in order to enhance durability and corrosion resistance.
Challenges & Access Requirements:
The works involved extensive access at heights, including the use of man cages and cherry pickers to reach difficult structural areas. The project required careful coordination to safely carry out works in restricted and hard-to-access locations while maintaining operational continuity.
Delivery:
The project was completed over an 8-month period, including night shifts and weekend work to meet program deadlines. All works were carried out in compliance with strict OHS requirements, with full safety measures implemented for all personnel on site.
Outcome:
A high-quality protective coating system was successfully delivered across all crane structures, completed safely, on schedule, and in line with project requirements.
